At B&B Music Lessons, we are always looking for qualified teachers to join our roster.  Lashone is our newest addition to our team and we are excited to have her aboard.

Originally from Chicago, Illinois, I now reside in the Maryland/Washington D.C. area. I started singing publicly around the age of 5 and playing piano at 9. From there I toured overseas in Europe and across the United States. I have learned various styles: Classical, Gospel, Country,R&B, Pop/Rock,Musical Theatre and more. In addition to just singing them myself I can effectively teach others the how to sing as well. In lessons my job is to help you improve and help you get to where you want to go. So whether they are just starting out or if they have been in lessons for years I look forward to helping YOU thrive. I promise to provide a curriculum that is tailored specifically to you and your needs to help further your musical growth.

I work well with kids because I try to teach them on their level. In lessons its really all about the child and what they would like to learn. Whether that’s learning a song to sing for an upcoming graduation, learning essential repertoire to get into the music school of your dreams, or if you have always wanted to learn piano but just never had time before. I am committed to helping them learn and grow.
