Why I work well with kids?
Most of my professional experience has involved working with kids, ages 5 – 16, through coaching sports and/or teaching music. Over the years I have learned to have a great amount of patience and understanding which I think is key to helping a student reach their potential. I am also able to tailor my style of teaching to fit the need of the child…and I’m creative and friendly!
Vaughan B. Bio and Resume
Bio
Location of Birth: Manhattan, New York
I received my B.A in 2009 from Mills College in Oakland, CA where I majored in English with a minor in Music (violin performance). I have been involved in music from a very early age, as the daughter of two classical musicians, growing up in Berlin, Germany where I lived for 12 1/2 years. I began studying the violin and piano. All through elementary, high school, and college I received private instruction, and performed in orchestra’s, solo concerts, and other artistic endeavors. In 2007 I began giving private piano and violin lessons. I love being able to pass along the knowledge I’ve acquired to a younger generation.
