Why I work well with kids?

I am patient and down to earth and love music, teaching and kids.  I find what makes the lessons fun and productive while at the same time keeping my students motivated to practice music because they want to, not because they are required to.  I have plenty of experienced with all types of children, all types of learning styles and am excited to work with your child in learning the world of music.

Matt H. Bio and Resume

Bio

Location of Birth: Arlington, VA

Began my piano lessons and singing at an early age and was privately taught classical piano until age 18. At 15, I taught myself guitar with what I had learned of theory and music. Bass came hand in hand with that. Began songwriting shortly after picking up the guitar. I’ve been performing since the beginning of my piano instruction. In college I started my first touring band. I was the primary songwriter and manager for that project. I have recorded numerous self released projects and am currently working as a music teacher, audio engineer and producer here in the DC area. Full break down of experience in my resume.
