Why I work well with kids?
I work very well with kids of this age because, I teach in a way that makes things fun and most importantly interesting! I am extremely patient. I find it very gratifying to share my knowledge of music so they too can experience a lifetime of all the wonderful opportunities that I have. I have a lot of experience working with students from the ages of 5 to 20.

Hi,
Yes! Patrick and Jakub had a great first lesson, they’re looking forward to the next one and wonder why the week go so slow. I hope Gary is happy about boys as well.
Thank you,
Joanna
Hi Nancy and Bhagwan,
As background, my eight year old son Ethan had been taking private drum lessons for two years prior to Gary. I had grown increasingly frustrated because I didn’t think his teacher was particularly good at relating to a kid Ethan’s age and keeping it fun for him. We switched to Gary only a couple of weeks ago, but he’s been a real breath of fresh air. He has already established a great rapport with Ethan and Ethan looks forward to drum lessons now in a way he had not before (and puts up less resistance to practicing). As far as I’m concerned, that’s the most important quality you have in a music teacher for an eight year old. Gary has also been on punctual for the couple of lessons we’ve had so far.
