Why I work well with kids?
Having being taught music from a very young age, I can relate to kids and understand that they gravitate more towards enthusiasm, positivity and overall just a fun time. Music is a passion of mine and just like i used to enjoy my lessons as a kid, I would like to see kids enjoy themselves while learning music from me. I bring patience, a good attitude and a sense of humor and hope to make kids genuinely want to practice their instrument and become fine young musicians.

The benefits of private drum lessons, or any other musical instrument, are widely known. Studying drums during a young student’s formative years helps the brain develop in meaningful ways. Playing the drums is so much fun that children often don’t realize that they are developing the same part of their brain used in understanding math and science. This fact alone should make most parents at least try to direct their child into some form of music study.

Robert C.
I have been teaching lessons for over 10 years now and I think my success as a teacher comes from not only teaching students how to play the drums, but more importantly, how to enjoy music and have fun playing drums. As I grew up I played drums 4-6 hours a day and it wasn’t because anyone was forced me to play, it was because it was something I truly enjoyed. While teaching I keep my childhood experience in mind and always make it my first job to teach students how to enjoy playing.
