Patience and positive reinforcement are two of my strongest attributes. I am very easy-going and friendly and I’ve always been able to communicate well with kids. I still have the same spark I did when I first picked up the guitar at the age of 12, and I think children can easily relate to me because of that.

Why I work well with kids?
I would describe my teaching style as a means in which students can be completely contented to learn music notation, vocal, instrumental, and ear-training skills, and be able to perform the music professionally and expressively. Having been classically trained in piano in New York City at various schools and conservatories, attending LaGuardia H.S. of Music and Art and Performing Arts, playing and performing on voice and piano at Howard University, teaching piano classes, producing and directing plays, I have an extensive background and I am able to fully teach these classes. My instructional skills would challenge the students by always keeping them engaged and anticipating on the next topic.
